Kirby Campbell Music Tuition was founded in 2018 by director and owner Tara Kirby-Campbell. Since 2018, the team has expanded, teaching hundreds of students, igniting a passion and love for music in each and every student! ​
With studio values including accessibility, availability, progress and creativity, every lesson is structured to each student's goals, needs and loves and we strive to provide music education that focuses on progress, not perfection.

Music Playgroup
Kirby Campbell Music Tuition is excited to host a weekly musical playgroup to inspire our mini musicians. Commencing in Term One 2025, we will be trialing our brand new program.
Children aged 0-6 are invited to engage in our musical playgroup, a 45 minute group class which combines music, storytelling and play whilst important social skills like turn-taking and sharing.
This playgroup offers a relaxed, fun-filled environment where children’s development is supported through music. The sessions include singing, playing percussion instruments, dancing, singing and storytelling—all strongly focused on interaction and communication, whilst providing many brilliant benefits of the addition of music in children's life.

Accessibility, Neurodiversity and NDIS
Here at Kirby Campbell Music Tuition, we strongly believe that everyone should be able to access music lessons in an environment that caters to their needs. As a neurodiverse music studio, most of our tutors are Neurodivergent and/ or have a strong understanding of teaching music to Neurodiverse students. Additionally, we consider what others may see as barriers, as the superpowers that allow our students to succeed and thrive in different ways (and keep us on our toes, improving our teaching and pushing us to continue to develop and grow, learning more about what works for different students).

Furthermore, we can also issue NDIS invoices for Plan-Managed and Self-Managed Participants.

Parking
There are lots of options for parking near our studio.
Most of the street parking on William Street is free one hour parking from 8-6pm (Mon-Fri) and 8-12pm (Sat)
If you're staying for more than one hour, but less than three, we recommend parking in the Marketplace Parking, or Terrace Central Parking that are just around the corner and provide free three hour parking.
