Songwriting Workshop

Local singer songwriter Tara Kirby-campbell will walk you through her songwriting process as you collaborate with other musicians to create a song in a safe and welcoming environment. With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Tara has worked and collaborated with many notable artists. Through the course of the workshop Tara will share helpful tips and tricks tackling subjects such as self criticism when songwriting, overcoming writers' block to creative ways to expand on an idea in order to create a full song and tell your own story. Tara will also discuss the legality of songwriting, how to get your songs discovered and how to make money off of your songs. 

Participants will also be given the chance to collaborate with other participants to write their own songs. 

Open to participants from Year 7 onwards- no age limit
